The movie is based on DC comics character Superman and his journey to saving the world.
The star studed film stars Henry Cavill in the lead role with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Kelvin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Lawrence Fishburne as Perry white and Rusel Crowe as Jor-El.
The film was made with a budget of $225,000,000. As at today 20/06/2012,just a week after its launch in the UK, the film has amassed a total of $226,086,000 from box office.
