Will smith not in Independence day 2

 Movie lovers have been clamoring for the release of Independence day 2, following the huge success of Independence day 1, a Sci fi film featuring Will smith, Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. fox, Randy Quaid, e.t.c. The film directed by Roland Emerich was released in 1996 and it amassed a total of $817,400,891 from box office on a budget of $75million.

The director of the film Roland Emerich who is currently promoting his latest movie "White house down" said the sequel for the movie will be releases in 2015.The storyline for the sequel features a series of activities taking place 23 years after the first film. The director is currently concern with the sequel for now and denounces plans to make a third part for the movie.

In his own words when asked about the characters that would be back,he said:

Will Smith can not come back because he's too expensive, but he'd also be too much of a marquee name. It would be too much. We have like maybe half of the people that you know would know from the first film (in the script) and the other half people who are new.

Indeppendence Day is set to be released on July 3rd 2015.
